After months of looking at homes in the Alpharetta and Johns Creek areas, our clients looked at a Fannie Mae foreclosure in Kimball Bridge Crossing off of Kimball Bridge Road in Alpharetta, and fell in love with the floor plan.  The problem was that it needed a lot of work.   

This Fannie Mae property had been under contract previously, but was terminated due to the buyer becoming aware of the amount of worked required after going under contract.  Once it returned to the market there were multiple offers received, and my client elected to make an offer above list price and was awarded a contract on the property.

Delightful Clients Close on a Perfect Home

Things just have a way of working out.  That was the case with these clients.  Originally desiring to stay around the Windward area in order to keep the kids in the same school, but nothing seemed to work.  So the search was expanded a little to take in areas slightly south and west of Windward. 

Our search quickly gravitated to new construction.  Unfortunately, this occurred at a time when resale inventory was diminished, and although building permits were up, there still was not a lot to choose from.  Builders knew this and were not willing to adjust their prices to where my clients wanted to be.

We recently represented a client that was looking for a second home on Lake Lanier. Our search yielded a slew of homes that homeowners had hap-hazardously added on to over the years, resulting in what seemed like a box with random boxes awkwardly attached.
